With years of witnessing the challenges faced by our furry friends, we are urging local officials to take significant actions toward the betterment of the OCAS Division and the shelter environment they reside in.
Our Advocacy Pillars:
- Shelter Infrastructure Improvements: We believe in the potential of affordable yet impactful solutions. Improving the existing infrastructure, such as efficient air-conditioning, installing kennel separators, soundproofing spaces, and expanding overflow capacities, can be game-changers for the animals’ well-being.
- Increased Transparency within the OCAS System: Knowledge is power. By providing clear insights into medical cases, behavioral concerns, euthanasia statistics, and granting more access to data and public records, we aim to empower the community.
